Mission Statement
Since 1966 Greater Manassas Volunteer Rescue Squad (GMVRS) has been part of the City of Manassas' emergency services. GMVRS has provided and will continue to deliver quality emergency medical services, as well as provide education and support to the community. We will provide these services to the local community and to the surrounding jurisdictions with the utmost care and professionalism. We will use our education and training, our fleet of ambulances and rescue vehicles to protect life in our community, in our state and in our country whenever called upon.
