The Greater Manassas Volunteer Rescue Squad provides a variety of CPR, AED, and First Aid classes to the public and medical providers at our station. Dates for our upcoming class can be found on our training calendar. If interested in a class, please fill out the inquiry form below.

This course is designed to provide a wide variety of certified and non-certified, licensed and non-licensed, healthcare professionals with the skills to keep people alive until they can be brought to a hospital or be treated with more advanced lifesaving measures. This course is intended for physicians, nurses, paramedics, emergency medical technicians, first responders such as firefighters and police, as well as laypeople who bring them in contact with members of the public, such as school, fitness centers, day care centers, hotel and restaurant employees. This course covers adult and pediatric CPR/AED, two-rescuer scenarios and use of bag-valve-mask, foreign body obstructions, and other cardiopulmonary emergencies. Students must pass a written and skills test in order to qualify for a BLS for Healthcare Providers Course Completion Card.

This course provides first responders with training in basic first aid procedures. This course covers first aid basics, including medical emergencies, injury emergencies, and environmental emergencies. Students are required to pass a skills test in qualify for a Heartsaver First Aid Course Completion Card.
