We welcome the new Fire Chief of City of Manassas Fire Rescue Department.

The board has met variously through Google Meet or in-person while maintaining distance.

Fortunately it was just s small fire contained to a porch. Fire was quickly contained.

Today is the last shift for EMT Martin Ross. Sadly his employer is transferring him to California.

With Virginia entering Phase 3 openings in July, we’ve started accepting applications and on-boarding prospective applicants again.

The team will go house-to-house with the 30-question survey in the Cities of Manassas, City of Manassas Park, VA and Prince William County Government, Virginia.

We remember and are thankful for Chuck Poppe’s many years of loyal service and leadership of the GMVRS, and express our collective condolences to his family as they experience this loss.
